Coolant Temperature Sensors

The Thermometrics Coolant Temperature Sensor monitors the temperature of the coolant used to cool the EV/PHEV battery module. The purpose of the sensor is to communicate battery overheating conditions to the Battery Management System (BMS). The vehicle system uses this information to control battery charging and overheating to prevent damage to the battery.

The GE-2133 is designed to use a u-clamp to secure the sensor in the application piping, which provides a quick method of installation or removal.
