Automatic Defogging Sensors
Relative humidity, ambient temperature and glass temperature sensors are integrated into one compact sized component.ADS provides windshield temperature, cabin temperature and humidity signals to the automatic climate control system.ADS can detect windshield fogging before it occurs and sends a measurement signal to prevent the windshield from fogging up automatically. Amphenol’s new ADS (Automatic Defogging Sensor) utilizes the dew point of the windshield to predict fogging conditions, which allows for greater accuracy and faster response times.
